Events of the 9th of Slate, 1091
It began in madness.
Mr Tk threw aside her sanity along with her tools, and crawled from her workshop.
It was impossible to understand the words she babbled, to any that heard her it sounded like meaningless jargon. Nobody would recognise the forgotten language of the gods.
As it occurred, people considered it the sad conclusion to a mind strained by the inability to complete her task.
Under the cover of darkness the acolyte had slipped out into the tundra, travelling with another.

Tskiller looked at her as they approached the south-western tower. "Where around here did you want me to dig, then?"
Xotes scanned the snowy ground, searching for the place where it had melted away. The dreams had been vivid, and it only took her a moment find.
"Here." she said, pointing out the location and stepping back so her stooge could do the work. The man hadn't even a shirt on his back, it hadn't been hard to convince him to do as she wished for a bit of coin. How he could stand to be out here in the freezing with no clothes on was beynd her.
Tskiller examined it and grumbled. "Don't know what you expect me to find here, Xotes. Seems like a bit of a longshot. Nothing around here but dirt."
"It came to me in a dream." Xotes said, airily. "Indulge me."
Tskiller rolled his eyes. "Fine, fine. So long as I get paid for me work."
Xotes smiled reassuringly. "I can assure you that you will get what's coming to you."

Tskiller struck the earth, sundering it with surprising ease.
"Gods below!" he shouted, stepping back as the ground crumbled away into the magma waiting below. "Xotes, what have you found?!"
"What I was looking for." Xotes replied. "Ooh, watch out."
Tskiller stumbled bacwards as something surged from the magma, all bone and fire. It turned its fiery gaze towards him, death written in its glow. Taking one look, he promptly fainted from shock.
As the creature claimed its first victim, Xotes watched it with curiousity. It was a strange thing.

Once done with him, it turned to look at her, hollow eyes blazing with fire.
It took a single malevolent step, then stopped. Xotes swallowed, she had barely managed to hold her ground. The creature was a fearful thing, bent and twisted to her master's will.
Unafraid, she stepped forwards into the lava, letting the molten rock claim her. It was time to join the ranks of her Master.
